Step 2

If you’d like to meet a dog in person, join us at one of our adoption events!

Just keep in mind the dog you have your eye on may already be adopted by then — but don’t worry, we’ll have plenty of other wonderful dogs and puppies waiting to meet you. Bring a printed application with you, and plan to arrive early for the best chance to connect with your match.

Want to make sure you don’t miss out on the dog you’ve fallen in love with?

Our Pre-Adoption option guarantees you can adopt the dog of your choice once you’re approved. Simply complete our adoption application and email it back to us. The only trade-off is that you won’t get to meet your dog in person before adoption — but this option ensures they’ll be waiting just for you.

Step 3

Please allow 24–72 hours for us to call you back. The timing depends on how many applications we receive and how busy we are, so thank you for your patience. Once you submit your application, you’re officially in line for the pup(s). We review applications in the order they come in, working from oldest to newest emails to keep things fair for everyone.

Step 4

If you’re approved, just send back the adoption contract, paperwork, and fee within 24 hours. Once we have everything, we’ll mark your pup as adopted — and you can start getting ready to bring your new best friend home!
